Event Description African Studies Club invites you to a join us in celebration of the diverse continent of Africa at our opening night event, Africa Matters. We will start the night with vibrant African dance performance by the Rainbow Dance Theatre. Next, we will welcome world-renowned South African Anthropologist and Phi Beta Kappa Scholar Dr. John Comaroff to speak about his recently published book Theory from the South: or, How Euro-America is Evolving Toward Africa. |
