Event Description
Please join us for Successful State Applications presented by WorkSource Salem! The Facilitators include Jarred Parker, Business and Employment Specialist, and Amy Acree, Guest Recruiter for the Oregon State Police. Dinner will be provided.

In this workshop, you will learn about how to successfully navigate the NeoGov system to apply for State positions. Learn about best practices to answer supplemental questions which require an essay, and how to tailor work history duties to get that interview! The Facilitators will field questions throughout the presentation, and provide ideas to build your application using your work history, volunteer history, and academic experiences.

The tips in this workshop have saved attendees time while applying to multiple positions, and we have received excellent feedback from attendees. If you want a job working for the State, then this is the workshop for you!
