Activist and Musician Ryan Harvey
Start Date: 3/16/2018Start Time: 7:30 PM
End Date: 3/16/2018End Time: 9:30 PM

Event Description
Join WEB for an evening of socially-conscious music and discussion with activist/musician/writer Ryan Harvey!

Harvey's music, written work, and activism have a focus on neoliberalism, US aggression in Latin America and the Middle East, refugee crises, environmental injustices, and lesser-known stories/anecdotes -- both modern and centuries old -- of resilience and revolution. Harvey's performances are part story-telling, part song, and part stand-up political comedy. Speaking in his own voice, he presents kaleidoscopic narratives of modern social movements, political history, and personal stories aimed at moving the listener to question, act, and self-reflect on serious issues affecting the world today.
