Event Description
"Challenges and Opportunities: Islam in America Since 9/11"
Richard Francaviglia, Visiting Professor of Religious Studies

Despite the popular belief that Islam has been forced into retreat in the U.S. since September 11, 2001, Dr. Francaviglia will discuss how just the opposite has occurred - interest in Islam is at an all-time high, conversions are increasing, and new mosque and cultural center construction is flourishing.

Bring your lunch or purchase it at the Cat Café. (Please allow 15-20 minutes to purchase your lunch.)
