Join WEB for a welcome back concert on Brown Field! CLA students are invited for free food and entertainment by California-based band, Brightside. (Rain location: Cat Cavern).

Brightside began in a studio on Electric Avenue in Venice Beach, CA. Influenced by singer/songwriter legends such as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and Bob Marley; walking in the path of modern roots/rock performers, like the great Michael Franti the band delivers a positive message, while invigorating audiences of all cultures to dance with a purpose. Brightside takes the listener on a journey of remembering the important power of the human spirit. They have performed alongside Michael Franti & Spearhead, Trevor Hall, Nikka Costa, Donavon Frankenreiter, Toubab Krewe, Rhett Miller, and Pato Banton.
