Shakespeare on a Budget

Event Description
Join alumni, current students and theater professor Bobby Brewer-Wallin at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland for two extraordinary plays at an unbeatable price. Professor Brewer will give a brief talk on play themes, costumes and scene design, and explain how all the elements come together to create magic on the stage. A catered group lunch is also included as part of the package.

We're also offering a special add-on event on Friday, Oct. 20 for those craving even more great theatre! Come down to Ashland a night before our outing at the Shakespeare Festival for a lovely multiple-course dinner and a production of "Baskerville" at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre.


11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Catered lunch & pre-play presentation – Community Center
1:30 – 4:00 p.m. “Shakespeare in Love” – Angus Bowmer Theatre
4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Free time and dinner (on your own) in Ashland
7:15 – 7:45 p.m. Pre-play presentation – Patio outside theatre (in lobby, if raining)
8:00 – 10:30 p.m. “Julius Caeser” - Angus Bowmer Theatre
