Event Description
Andre Johnson is an assistant professor of communication at the University of Memphis, director of the Henry McNeal Turner Project and founding editor of the Rhetoric, Race, and Religion blog.

“The Selected Works of Andre E. Johnson” is a collection of his essays, blog posts and popular and academic talks; it combines historical, religious and rhetorical insight into incisively relevant commentary about our contemporary social context.

Co-sponsored by La Chispa/Salem Spark, the Department of Civic Communication and Media, Department of Sociology, the American Ethnic Studies program, the Council for Diversity and Social Justice and the Office of the Chaplains.
