Event Description

Join us in Cat Cavern to meet with Ana Molina, of Beyond Toxics, and María Hernández Segoviano, a WU alum and member of Organizing People/Activating Leaders (OPAL).

They will discuss public comment periods to support environmental justice for farmworkers and to block a proposed gas port in Oregon. They’ll also share their experiences as former college students and what it’s like to be working on environmental and climate justice issues.

Lunch will be provided by La Chispa/The Salem Spark & its Green Fund Grant.
