Event Description
A Carson Summer Research Grant presentation by senior CLA student Carol Li about contemporary discourses and depictions of Hawaii. Come to the Hatfield room on the 2nd floor of the library from 4:30PM - 5:30PM on Thursday, September 22nd to learn about how different narratives regarding paradise and racial and ethnic relations function in Hawaii and the power of “aloha”. This presentation encompasses a three month long research project and will be a great opportunity to learn more about Hawaii.
