James T. Bialac Associate Curator of Native American and Non-Western Art at the Fred Jones, Jr. Museum of Art at the University of Oklahoma in Norman

Offered in conjunction with the "Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts at 25" at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art, curator heather ahtone will provide a slide presentation that examines the intitial engagement by Native American artists with the medium of printmaking, the various processes of this dynamic medium, and maps the spread of the medium through a matrix of personal connections and artistic innovations. 

This lecture will be followed by a panel discussion about the Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts at 2:15 in the Paulus Lecture Hall at the Willamette University College of Law.
