Two in One: The Imagination of Bisexuality in Eisenstein and Sokurov

Event Description
Evgenii Bershtein, Professor of Russian at Reed College, will examine how two great Russian film directors employed the notion of universal bisexuality in their artistic works as well as their theoretical and personal writings. The talk will address Sokurov's film "Alexandra." A film showing of "Alexandra" will be held in Ford 302 on Monday, April 25th at 7:00PM.
